Another great week on the Kingfisher with some interesting catches, not least of which was a 20kg, 1.3m Port Jackson shark. These nocturnal creatures are rarely caught and this one put up a brave struggle and was rewarded by being returned unharmed to the depths. The lures produced skipjack tuna and australian salmon but with summer fast approaching we can expect kingish and dorado to start appearing. See you soon aboard the Kingfisher !
