The fishing has been fantastic of late with record catches on the Kingfisher. Saturday was cancelled however due to predicated high winds which didn’t materialise but at Deep Sea Charters we play it “rather safe than sorry” giving customers a full refund or a chance to rebook rather than risk an unpleasant trip.
Congratulations to Peter Godfrey’s (see below) team (sponsored by Deep Sea Charters) for coming 15th out of 90 entrants in the Southern Bream Series. Unfortunately they didn’t make it into the top 10 to go through to the finals. They nearly didn’t make it at all as the truck blew a radiator on the side of the highway. at 5.30 in the morning but some bush mechanics and they were back in the game.
