Another great week of angling on the Kingfisher came to a close with Sunday afternoon cancelled as the wind and swells reached unacceptable levels. It was a marginal call but Deep Sea Charters will always cancel rather than risk clients having a potentially unenjoyable experience.
Some interesting action on Friday saw a happy angler land a 1.2m mako shark. The struggling flathead on it’s way up to the Kingfisher proved irresistible and led to his undoing.
